Some Birds and Beasts and Their Feasts

Limited edition hardback book featuring an alphabet of animals printed directly from Enid Marx’s original wood engravings, recently rediscovered in the Incline Press archive. The decorative paper features one of Marx’s rediscovered wood engravings, worked into a repeat pattern. The book is of handmade Barcham Green paper, dampened and printed on an 1846 Albion press and has been stitched and handbound at Awen Press. Published in an edition of 160 copies.

The book measures 11.5 x 15cm.
