- The approximate dimensions are 210 x 297 mm, or 8.3 x 11.7 inches.
- ‘White Horse’, watercolour, 1939.
- ‘The Causeway, Wiltshire Downs’, watercolour, 1937.
-
‘Two Women in a Garden’, watercolour, 1933. A quiet afternoon in the garden of Brick House, Great Bardfield, featuring Tirzah Garwood (married to Eric Ravilious) and Charlotte Bawden (married to Edward Bawden), when both couples were sharing the house.
- ‘Geraniums and Carnations’, Eric Ravilious, watercolour, 1938.
- ‘The Greenhouse: Cyclamen and Tomatoes’, Eric Ravilious, watercolour, 1935. This striking watercolour was painted in the glass houses around West Firle in Sussex, a short walk from ‘Furlongs’, the cottage where Ravilious often stayed with Peggy Angus, and occasionally Tirzah Garwood, his wife.
- 'Train Landscape', watercolour, 1939. Probably one of his most recognisable images, Train Landscape was painted while Ravilious was assembling ideas and images for a Puffin Book of Hill Figures. Whilst seemingly portraying the white horse below Bratton Castle in Wiltshire, the geology featured here is much more reminicent of the Downs in Sussex, particularly Windover Hill above Wilmington.
